We assess sufficiently detailed reports having regard to apparent urgency, potential harm, the information available to us and applicable legal requirements. We may restrict content or accounts without prior notice. Sending a report does not guarantee removal, restoration, reasons, individual correspondence or any particular outcome, and we do not decide whether reported material is unlawful. Please tell us what is wrong rather than proving it: we do not ask for a lawyer's letter, a statutory declaration, a citation to legislation, or identity documents.

What happens next
What removal can and cannot do: we can remove content from the Vaenyx catalogue and index that installations read, remove the published files, and block that item identifier from being republished. We cannot remove copies held by other people — forks, mirrors, caches, archives and search-engine results are outside our control, and removal here does not make content disappear from the internet. If the material is unlawful, you may have remedies against the person who published it that we cannot provide.
